NOLA’S Happiest Hours

We’ve compiled a list of NOLA’s happiest hours – from drinks to eats and general good-times, here’s our guide to some of the neighborhood’s hot spots…...

From pool splashes to coffee dashes.

It’s no news that we Melbournians take our coffee very, very seriously. Since the great coffee boom of the 1950s, coffee has become a way of life for many Australians, and those who call Melbourne home particular. With such an extensive and diverse specialty coffee history, it’s not hard to understand why.

Enriched with history of its own, Poolhouse Coffee can be found at 6 Franklin St, Melbourne, situated beneath the notable City Baths that has provided health and fitness services to the Melbourne public for more than 150 years.

Weekdays NOLA Art Display

There’s a whole lotta stuff going down around NOLA at the moment, one of those being the display of some incredible artworks, all thanks to a collaboration between local studio Weekdays and the Metro Tunnel Creative Program.

You’ll find Weekdays’ colourful designs sprawled across the Metro Tunnel construction hoardings within the NOLA precinct as well as the State Library.

Weekdays’ artist Todd Vanneste describes the intention of the artworks within the area as, “making you feel like its own little world that you have to enter and exit, with the construction being completely secondary as you pass through this visual portal

Don’t forget to check it out next time you’re in the area, snap a selfie and share it with us using #NOLAmoment.

This collaboration is brought to you by the Metro Tunnel Creative Program.
